Antanjula – which means ‘Bridge to the other land’ – is a newly founded duo by Theo Carpentier and Angela Ambrosini. They play own compositions that are influenced by different musical styles. Sometimes they quote literally, but often a subtle reference is heard. In their music they approach different musical traditions in a new way and so develop an own and contemporary sound. All compositions are written by Theo Carpentier.
